Music makes my world ~

Music means so much to me, it has always been a big part of my life. The most significant moment in my life relating to music is when I ended up in my Year 12 music class. I never ever planned to do music in year 12 nor did I never ever think that I was good enough.

After a sequence of events and a huge dislike of chemistry I decided I best do music! There were only about 4 of us in the class so 3 of us became a band whilst the other went solo. There was myself who played rhythm guitar, Justin who played lead guitar and Sam who played drums. This wasn't quite our idea of a band so we recruited Mitch to sing for us from the year level below and our mate Raff jumped on bass and volunteered to play for us all year even though he wasn't doing the class nor did he own a bass! So after a hard year of "study" and some great teachers the guys insisted that we play at an 18th. After that 'Oddity' was officially a band and we gigged flat out for the next year! We had many ups and downs and changed members far too often but the year was hectic and amazing! We were lucky to support loads of bands such as The Butterfly Effect and Vanessa Amorosi. We have now gone our separate ways but Mitch and myself have both ended up in Adelaide and are now starting a new band! So stop by my blog soon and I will be sure to keep you up to date on our new adventures!
